Some aviation businesses begin with a business plan.
Track A Plane began with a lifetime around airplanes.
Long before aviation became a business, it was part of Ruben Suarez's everyday life.
Growing up around aviation, Ruben was exposed to aircraft, maintenance information, aviation equipment and the people who make aviation possible. While other kids were learning to read children's books, Ruben was fascinated by FAA maintenance manuals and the technical world surrounding aircraft.
The fascination never left.
As he grew older, aviation became more than something to admire. It became something to experience firsthand. Ruben spent weekends flying alongside his father, serving as a copilot and accumulating as much as 30 hours of flight time in a month. Those hours in the cockpit created something that cannot be learned from a business textbook: a genuine appreciation for the people, machines, details and relationships that make aviation special.
In 2015, Ruben Suarez founded RS Aviation Group LLC.
The original plan was personal and family-driven: the purchase of a King Air B100 as part of a retirement plan for his father — the kind of aviation project that begins with a dream and quickly becomes a very serious undertaking.
But the experience revealed something bigger.
Buying an aircraft is not like buying an ordinary product.
Aircraft transactions involve technical information, maintenance history, ownership records, equipment, documentation, inspections, operating history, pricing, location, logistics and countless other details.
And during that experience, Ruben discovered how difficult it could be to find complete, current and reliable information in one place.
As Ruben's experience in aviation continued, he also worked as a Parts Manager and became familiar with some of the industry's major Parts-Exchange and inventory networks.
Again, the same problem appeared.
And buyers often had to search across multiple sources, make numerous calls and emails and spend valuable time trying to determine what was actually available.
For an industry where time matters, that experience was frustrating.
But it also sparked an idea.
That question became the beginning of Track A Plane.
Track A Plane was created from firsthand experience — not simply from observing the aviation marketplace from the outside.
Our goal is straightforward:
Make aviation information easier to find. Make aviation connections easier to make. And make the marketplace experience better for everyone involved.
Track A Plane brings together multiple areas of aviation under one platform:
Buyers and sellers can connect through dedicated aircraft listings designed around aviation-specific information.
Our Parts Exchange helps buyers search for available aviation parts and connect directly with suppliers.
Find hangars, aviation properties, facilities and other aviation-related real estate opportunities.
Discover aviation businesses and professionals offering specialized products and services.
Connect aviation employers with professionals looking for their next opportunity — and give aviation professionals a place to showcase their availability.
Track A Plane is being built with a simple philosophy:
Aviation is a community.
And everyone has something to contribute.
Track A Plane is designed to help those people find one another.
Our mission is to create an aviation marketplace that is useful, accessible, transparent and easy to navigate — while respecting the expertise and responsibility that aviation demands.
We want to help reduce the time spent searching for information and increase the time people spend making meaningful aviation connections.
We know that a website cannot replace a pre-buy inspection, a maintenance record review, a qualified mechanic, an aircraft appraisal, proper documentation, or professional due diligence.
It shouldn't.
Our job is to make it easier to find the aircraft, find the part, find the property, find the service, find the opportunity and find the people who can help.
Track A Plane is the next chapter in a journey that began with a child fascinated by FAA manuals, continued in the cockpit beside his father, grew through the creation of RS Aviation Group LLC in 2015 and evolved through years of firsthand aviation experience.
What started as a family passion became a business.
That business became experience.
And that experience became an idea:
Build a better place for aviation to connect.
